I was looking for a rug to decorate our family cabin. I wanted something in the southwestern style, but not too over the top. I bought an 8×11 for the den and 2 runners for the hallways. They look so so good! Everyone in my family loves them and I was really impressed with the quality. The rugs brighten up the room while not showing dirt or soil or anything. I’ll be back for any rugs I need in the future.
I received 3 different sizes in the Whiskey River Turquoise rugs. Bought an 8 by 11; 5 by 7 and 2 by 8 runner. They are beautiful. I ordered a second runner after they arrived. They compliment the brown leather furniture and a red accent wall in the open living/kitchen room.

This is a very nice rug for the price. I have many rugs from top quality to fairly inexpensive. This one is a little thinner than others I have but that obviously keeps the price more reasonable. The color is vibrant, and the personal service afforded by this company was top notch. I loved the selection of rugs available and wish I had a bigger house so I could enjoy more of the selection. I would/will definitely buy more from this company. My opinion is you do need a rug pad if you are placing on wood floors. It has a jute backing which I was glad of but I didn’t see that explained in the description,

We love our Whiskey River 5X8 rug under our dining room table! It’s very nice quality and adds just the right amount of color pop on our rustic hard wood floors. We also ordered the rug mat from Southwestern Rug Depot to place under the rug to keep it from slipping around. It is super nice quality as well and plumps up the look of the rug a bit. We ordered the rug last year during the pandemic and surprisingly, it didn’t take long to receive it, around 2 weeks. I believe the rug is American made which makes it, all the better. First off, the 3 stars rating is NOT a reflection of the company, which is excellent. I was just looking for a thicker, softer pile than these rugs; one better suited for colder climates. I ordered several samples of different designs which were delivered quickly and allowed me to see first what the entire rug would be like, including colors. This is such a huge benefit, so thank you to Southwestern Rugs Depot for setting up that option. The communication (with Connor) was excellent from start to finish which makes this company truly exceptional these days. No awful Chatbots with canned answers! If the rugs were of the type I was looking for I’d order several from this company without hesitation, especially with it being more “local” (US to Alberta).

It was very well wrapped, which is an important thing in a snowy climate. Also, to our surprise, when we unwrapped it, it easily became flat and did not remain curled up.
